MEDIA CENTER

• Inform and educate Kentuckians about the fundamental resources that young people need to succeed in life: 1) caring relationships with adults; 2) safe places and structured activities; 3) a healthy start & a healthy future; 4) marketable skills through effective education; and 5) opportunities to help others.
• Provide a strong editorial voice on behalf of Kentucky's children and youth.
• Help to change attitudes and perceptions of young people, helping others to stop seeing youth as problems and start seeing youth as resources.
• Balance negative hard news stories about youth with positive coverage of young people and their contributions to their communities.
