Preparing young people for the workplace!

Youth Internships
The KCN Internship program is designed to give students an opportunity to gain new skills and to prepare them for the workplace, while contributing to the well-being of Kentucky’s youth. Internship positions are open to high school graduates and college students and are available in the following areas: administration, communications, development, policy, and research. Internships are based on a semester calendar and recruited as needed.

Youth Trainers
Kentucky Child Now began its Youth Trainers program in 2004, understanding that one of the best ways for both youth and adults to relate to youth-related issues is to have actual youth as trainers. Youth trainers are compensated and are recruited from across the state. Trainers receive valuable instruction, help design training agendas and activities, facilitate events, and play a key role in conducting actual trainings.
