What is a Site of Promise?
A Site of Promise is a community-based organization that is dedicated to fulfilling the Five Promises* for the children and youth that they serve. Sites of Promise include, but are not limited to youth serving organizations, businesses, faith based organizations and schools.

- Children are healthy and have access to quality, comprehensive health care
- Young people are valued and have access to the support, resources and opportunities they need to be fully prepared for adulthood

- Every child and youth needs the Five Promises to succeed in life
- Young people are resources and leaders-part of the solution, not the problem
- Fulfilling the Five Promises for every child and youth requires every sector of the community working together—family, school, faith-based, business, nonprofit and government

- Collaboration Being connected to a local Community of Promise and/or other Sites of Promise in their community to more effectively serve the needs of young people by maximizing resources and eliminating duplication
